What age range of students does Boca School for Autism cater to?

We provide educational services for middle school and high school students.

 

Is Boca School for Autism a public school?

No, we are a private school that meets or exceeds standards set by the Florida Department of Education.

 

Are you accepting new students?

Yes, we are accepting new students through rolling admissions. To inquire about admissions, please contact us through the Inquire button above or by emailing us at info@BocaSchoolforAutism.org.

 

Are you located on FAU’s campus?

Yes, our school is located on FAU’s campus. We are proud to partner with FAU to access the latest research and specific facilities that can enhance the educational experience for our students.

 

Is there an application fee?

Yes. There is a $100 fee to apply to Boca School for Autism. Before applying, we encourage you to inquire about admissions to see if we’re a good fit for your child.

 

How are you different from other schools?

Boca School for Autism teaches students with learning and behavior differences. Unlike other schools, we use a fully transdisciplinary approach embedded in the Universal Design for Transition Model that ensures that academics and therapeutic services are interwoven leading to increased independence.

Is Boca School for Autism a nonprofit organization?

Yes. We are a registered 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization (#45-5450011) focused on the success of our students. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

 

Do you offer transportation to school?

No, parents must provide transportation to and from school for their students.

 

Can parents or guardians be involved in their child’s education at Boca School for Autism?

Yes, we believe in fostering strong partnerships with parents and guardians. We encourage active involvement and provide opportunities for parent-teacher collaboration, volunteer opportunities and regular communication channels to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
